Project Challenges

Stale air and high humidity were the main issues. We added a ventilator, a whole-home humidifier, and a UV purifier at the air handler.

1. The old single-stage furnace short-cycled and left the upper floor cold. We sized the replacement using a heat-loss calculation so the new system delivers steady, even heat across all levels.
2. With the upgraded blower and a programmable thermostat, the homeowner gained quieter operation and lower winter gas bills.

Final Result

Humidity stabilized and the air feels fresher, with the family reporting easier breathing and fewer symptoms.
