When an Edmonton homeowner's 18-year-old furnace failed during a January cold snap, our team arrived
the same day to assess the system and recommend a high-efficiency gas furnace sized for the
home.
We removed the ageing unit, upgraded the venting and gas line to current code, and
installed a two-stage furnace with a variable-speed blower for even heating and lower energy use. The

The biggest challenge was the tight mechanical room and an outdated venting layout that no longer met code. We mapped the new two-stage furnace to the existing ductwork, rerouted the intake and exhaust through a new exterior wall penetration, and added a condensate drain with a safety switch to protect against overflow.
The homeowner now has reliable, efficient heat backed by a manufacturer warranty and JUJCO's labour guarantee. We registered the equipment, set up the maintenance reminder, and confirmed the system hit target temperature within minutes of startup. As with every JUJCO install, we left the work area clean and supplied the paperwork and rebate forms the homeowner needed.
